Heat Pumps

Heat pumps are air conditioners in which the refrigerant cycle can be reversed, enabling them to produce both heating and cooling in the indoor environment. They are often referred to as a reverse cycle air conditioner. Heat pump systems consist of a condenser unit and evaporator unit(s).

Heat pumps are available in various systems to suit a number of different locations and applications. These systems include one to one single split systems, multi-split systems, VRF systems and air to water systems.

AMP provide many different indoor unit styles, such as wall mounted, cassette, ducted, under ceiling & floor standing making the systems incredibly flexible and well suited to a wide variety of applications.

Air source heat pumps (ASHP) are also available; these transfer heat from outside to inside a building, or vice versa. An air source heat pump uses a refrigerant system involving a compressor and condenser unit, to absorb heat from one place and transfer it to another and can also offer full central heating and domestic hot water.

AMP can provide heat pumps from all three of our manufacturers.  Get in touch to discuss your needs.
